BEACHBOARD HACIENDA

Beachboard Hacienda is the best beach volleyball venue in the World. We offer five star practice experience for top teams and athletes as well as consumer groups and companies. The installation holds Indoor and outdoor relaxing areas, heated pool and poolside patios, outdoor gym, beach deck, hot showers, toilets, changing rooms, co-working areas, high speed WiFi, TV room with 86” television etc.
Hacienda has it all for perfect practice, play and relaxing.

COURT AREA
Beachboard Hacienda features two beach volley courts build with custom designed white quartz sand with 50cm depth and with world tour measure (over 5m side and service areas / safety areas). Our side nets around the courts reach up to 10 meters height. Our net system is Funtec professional with fast and easy adjustment and tightening possibility. The courts are available daily between 08.00-22.00.
During the dark hours the 500+ LUX flooding light system with over 80% uniformity is switched on.

BEACH VOLLEY CAMPS DAILY TRAINING SCHEDULE AND TRAINING GROUPS
Generally the morning training sessions are held between 08.30-13.00 and the afternoon session between 16.00-20.30. Afternoon hours and the last two court hours are normally for self guided games with our high quality play lights on. The exact schedule of a camp depends on the amount of training groups. With smaller camps the guided program starts between 09.00-10.00 and there

We expect to have on our camps on average 15-25 players. Our maximum Is around 40 players per camp and there is no minimum for confirmed camps. 

One training group can have maximum eight players, but as our objective is to form as homogenous groups as possible, the group size would be set in many cases to six or even less players. The coach might also adjust this depending of the practices we are running, but we never exceed 8 players in one training group.

COACHING TEAM OF BEACHBOARD BEACH VOLLEY CAMPS
Beachboard Hacienda Tenerife is designed, built and run by a team of beach volley and venue professionals.. We are not just a high quality facility, but also a team of dedicated professionals in coaching. Many of our coaches have long experience playing and coaching on World tour level. We focus on technical and tactical development and give plenty of personal feedback.

SELF GUIDED GAMES ON THE BEACH VOLLEY COURTS
When ever our courts are not occupied by groups and training sessions, our customers can jump in to self guided games and use our Mikasa balls. Court use is from 08.00 until 22.00.

COURT ETIQUETTE
At Beachboard Hacienda we always level the courts perfectly after every session, loosen the net, shake away the sand of the lines, gather balls and equipment and take all trash with us to recycling. These tasks are part everyones duties no matter if you are a pro player or a first timer. Small brushes are available so that we can easily brush away the sand from our skin leaving it on the sand area.

ACCOMMODATION WITH BREAKFAST INCLUDED
Stay with us and have full experience of our beach volley paradise with feel like being in another dimension. Be around the coaches and the other players, everything you need is just a few steps away. Only leave Hacienda for adventures, shopping or night life.

Accommodated people are divided in our lodging rooms. Private rooms have only same gender customers, but the main lodging room with premium private sleeping cabins can be mixed. All our lodging rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, bed linen and we give face, bath and pool towels.

FOOD AND DRINKS
Depending on the chosen package it includes certain meals. The meals are prepared fresh in our own kitchen
We use the best local products, fresh fruits and vegetables and cook nutritious meals designed for active people. The meals are served in a buffet style. Individuals dietary restrictions are noted. Meal times are combined with the training schedule.

All our packages always include drinks and daily snacks. Drinks include water, sparkling water, soft drinks, iso-tonic drinks, juice, beer and wine and daily we also promote fresh smoothies made of seasonal fruits. Snacks include seasonal fruits and savory snacks as well as over night oats, banana bread etc. There is some daily variation in the offering.

Breakfast generally includes following items: Coffee (or tea) with typical milk options, fresh juice, overnight oats, bread with toppings (for example: cheese, ham, cucumber, salad and tomato), seasonal fruits, smoothies, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, granola, jam and dried fruits.

The meal service times are connected to the training groups training times as well as possible
You are free to make your own shopping and have your preferred snacks with you. The closest mini market is just 250m from us.

SAND GYM
Beachboard Hacienda has an outdoor sand gym that includes
- Hexagonal Bar and weighst up to 250 kg
- 2 x olympic bar and weights up to 250 kg
- 3 x thin bars with weights up to 150 kg

- Dumbbells 2x (2,5 - 5 - 7,5 - 10 - 15 - 20 - 25 - 30 kg)

WASHING MACHINES AND DRYERS
Washing and drying machines and drying areas are available for our guests to use with detergents and softeners. We promote the teams, groups and individuals to wash their training equipment daily and dry them in dryers or in the drying area.
This allows our guests also to pack light and save with luggage costs. Unwashed clothes should not be hanged in any other common areas.

RECYCLING
We expect our guests to follow the guidelines given by the Hacienda staff considering recycling.

WiFi AND CO-WORKING SPACES
There is a high speed WiFi connection throughout the Hacienda allowing our guests to find calm spots where to connect. Our Parisian cafe, main living room area or a sun beam under sun or shadow can be you work station. The main lodging room has also two private phone booths designed to give privacy when needed.

FAMILIES WITH KIDS
Families are designed to stay in family/private rooms and they are equipped with small baby needs. Kids can hang out and enjoy pool side areas freely under parents supervision. Sand side with beach volley courts and gym are by default for sports use. For using them as playground should de agreed on.

SMOKING
Hacienda area is completely non smoking. Any guests, coaches or workers who wish to smoke have to do it outside Hacienda walls discretely.

QUIET TIME
The court side is silenced by 22.00 and the playing lights are switched of.
The Hacienda house is silenced also at 22.00 so that a restful night for everyone is guaranteed
On the pool side The quiet time is from 23:00 to 07:00. Calm relaxing on the pool side can go until midnight, but parties and later drinking should be taken to down town bars and clubs.

ANIMALS
By default dogs and pets are not allowed at the Hacienda unless separately agreed with the staff well in advance. The natural exception is Lua boxer who lives in Hacienda and its has been designed so. Please, follow the guidelines related to Lua

EQUIPMENT AVAILABLE AND WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU
Beachboard Camps have everything included except your personal items and clothes. Prepare with a sun cap, sunglasses, flip flops, clothes for some days (we have the possibility to wash clothes) and a sweat towel. Evening always cool down and long pants or a sweater is good to have.

We provide:

  • Sun lotions

  • Water bottles and drinking water filling possibility + all other drinks as mentioned above

  • All equipments for beach volleyball: Mikasa balls, basket, tables and boxes, blocker hands,

  • Warm up equipment: elastic bands, matts, sticks, yoga blocks, kettle bells, hopping ropes, etc

  • Shower gels

  • Washing machines and dryers with detergents and softeners

  • Games for free time: Chess, playing cards, darts, Finnish throwing game “Mölkky”, etc

FREE TIME AND ACTIVITIES
At Beachboard Hacienda you have always option to have your personal space for resting, relaxing or working, but you can easily join others. At Hacienda we have different games available: darts, Finnish throwing game, playing cards, chess to mention. You can always spread a yoga mat or go to our gym, respecting the space needed by groups session taking place at the same time. Sometimes we might propose evening programs with music quiz, poker night or sunset walk at the close by coastal hiking trails. You choose how you enjoy the most your free time.

Puerto de la Cruz city center is also just a bit over 2,4 km away (30 min walk) from Hacienda. Taxi is easy to arranged and cost only 6-7€ to the central area. Punta Brava area with many restaurants is only 1,2km away and the closest black sand beach with gardens Playa Jardin is just next to it. One of the most beautiful coastal walks of Northern Tenerife (Rambla de Castro) has its starting and a beautiful view point Mirador Roque Grande just 1,4km away from Hacienda.

Las Dehesas urbanization is only 300m from us with a pharmacy, small super market and a well valued local restaurant Tasca las Dehesas providing tasty local dishes. El Toscalin Lidl is 800m from us.

Please organize the best possible arrival and departure schedule for yourself.
Depending on the arrival times and airport, we try to provide group transportation options to Puerto de la Cruz and to Hacienda. We will provide more information closer to the camp. We try to arrange private vans / minibuses or give information how to get the best shuttle bus tickets in case your arrival time would not match with more participants. Our intention is always to give best priced and convenient options.

In Tenerife there are two AIRPORT (north and South) from which operate regular public buses and private shuttle buses giving good options for single travelers and small groups. Best providers for single traveller shuttle bus booking is www.hoppa.com (always book minimum three days before) and www.canaryshuttle.com. Public bus connection to and from airport serve as well (search through google map for the timetables)

CLIMATE
Northern Tenerifes climate is perfect year round. In winter time the daily temperatures are 21-23 degrees and in the summer normally less than 29 degrees. In Puerto the strong winds are rare which gives us perfect conditions for practicing beach volleyball on all levels.
